Jimmy Whittington Lumber has served Memphis builders since 1966, a family-owned lumberyard with locations in North Memphis and Cordova. We're a full-service independent yard, not a big-box store, stocking framing and dimensional lumber, treated lumber, decking, engineered wood products like LVL and I-joists, plywood, siding, mouldings, insulation and building supplies, serving both professional builders and DIY customers with delivery up to a hundred miles.
Nearly sixty years and multiple generations of the Whittington family in the same market mean our team knows the products and the local trade, and pulls orders personally. We belong to the LMC buying co-op for purchasing power but trade under our own independent name. As a family-owned independent with no chain-banner affiliation, Whittington pairs deep inventory with the personal service the big stores can't match.
